Mentors: Keramisten en leermeesters in België / Ceramistes & enseignants en Belgique
Kris Campo, Ludovic Recchia
BeCraft & Prisme Éditions, 2023
This book is part of the exhibition Mentors: Ceramists and teachers in Belgium, organized in 2023 by BeCraft, in collaboration with Keramis – Center of Ceramics of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It brings together sixty-six ceramics teachers who have left their mark on the history of ceramics education in Belgium, as well as on its artistic experience. The central question of knowledge transfer is revealed in the form of a genealogy that connects past and present, in a braid throughout Belgium, from the 20th century to the present. Curators Kris Campo and Ludovic Recchia interviewed thirteen artists; Their testimonies are rich in anecdotes and highlight profound reflections on the status of teachers, artists and ceramics. IN FRENCH AND DUTCH!

Pottendraaien is weer hip.
‘Mama, I came home tonight’
This is a personal publication, a small book that shows a serie of works made for the project ‘Mama, I came home tonight’. Most of the works are made as a tribute to my dear friend and artist Daan Gielis. Unfortunatly Daan died in 2023. It was a pleasure to work for him for a couple of years until february 2023.
